NX Solenoid Current Draw?
How many amps should a NX n2o and fuel noid draw? These are the "Iceman" series of solenoids. Mine will open for a second then blow the fuse. My old NOS powershot noids only drew 6 amps each.

Dang, so to run the fuel noid and the n2o noid I need 2 30 amp relays and two separate fuses? Or do you run a higher current relay?

Re: NX Solenoid Current Draw?
My two stage is more than 30 amps I blew a fuse the first time I tried it I now have a 60 amp fuse on my main feed and haven't had a nother problem. One 30 amp relay should do if you are worried there are 40amp relays at radio shack

What fuse is it blowing? Did u put a fuse in when u did the install? Or is it a fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side of the car? I had this problem when I added the purge solenoid, a certain fuse blew that wouldnt even let the damm car start. I had a small nick in my wire to the purge button...Check your wires....

Re: NX Solenoid Current Draw?
This is the main fuse for the relay load side. Everything was working perfectly on the dry setup and I simply moved the wires over to the wet setup. Now it is blowing the fuse. The noids open for a second and then blow the fuse. A 30 amp fuse should be enough I beleive.
