Default Recommend me nitrous kit for 408

So I just changed my setup and dropped in a forged 408 in my TA. I've been looking into nitrous kits and wonder which would be a good kit available nowadays that will be able to handle a 175-200-250ish shot. Motor has a FAST 92mm TB so would a plate kit or a nozzle work best for me? The previous nitrous kit I had on my 5.7 was a HSW 78mm wet plate kit but limited to a 150 shot so I sold it. For my 408 I want a single stage to spray off the line. Car has a S60 rearend so it can handle it! Any advice would be appreciated!

I have always used Nitro Dave's stuff. Top quality and very good customer service. I have used their plate kits on 200 and never had a issue. It seems like I remember seeing somewhere saying that someone ran 250 on a nitro dave's plate.

One of our plate systems would work great for you and give you room to grow either with a larger single stage or even a two stage setup.

They way the system come's it is able to spray all the way up to a 400 hp shot without have to buy any additional pieces. It would come with our new high flow lightning 45 bottle valve and a -6 feed line and our .125 orifice solenoid so supplying that much power wont be a problem.

Here is a link to the system if you would like to take a look at it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask or give me a call and i will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Honestly you have a couple of options. As far as a nozzle, i would lean away from this. The nozzles can be flowed to the 200 but the atomization of a plate over a nozzle at 200+ will be big. The plates will offer a good amount of horsepower with room to grow.

We do have customers running plates 350+. These customers started at 100 and worked their way up. Plates will deliver the nitrous you want but the larger the shot the less room you have for mistakes on tune. 250 on a plate should be no problem at all. We do make a true 92mm plate and system if you are interested.

Universal 92mm Plate system 10# bottle. 15 available

Custom hard lined 92mm plate system 10# bottle. 15# bottle available

Also if you want the ultimate in distribution the ability of growth you could also look into a direct port system like these.

Nice setups! I'm leaning towards a plate system for now. Now how about a nitrous controller for timing retard? I still have the HSW Interface controller I was using with my previous kit; would it be good enough?

Does the HSW pull timing. Sorry im not 100% sure what their controller will do.

We highly recommend the Lingenfelter LNC2000 timing retard and 2 step. This is because it will pull timing when you activate the system and return you back to NA timing when the system is turned off. Plus we havent had any of their units fail on us so thats a plus.

^^The Interface did offer the same features, automatically pulling timing when armed and back to normal when N/A, but I think I rather sell it and go for the Lingenfelter(new setup new everythin the h*ll with it). That Custom hard lined 92mm Fbody plate system definitely has me interested. Do you happen to have any pics of this system on a car?
