Default TNT 200 shot, should I try it????

I just ran my car this weekend on a TNT 150 shot. It felt really good, but I am thinking about running a 200 shot very soon. My A/F gauge looks really good as I am very rich. I run 100 ocatane with a inline fuel pump that adds about another 5lbs. of pressure to the line. Do you all think this would be safe enough to just run it a few times?? All replys are appreciated. Thanks

You are going to be stressing the connecting rods, pushrods, and valve train pretty good with a 200hp shot. They might be able to handle it a couple of times, but not a lot more. I have seen connecting rods with one too many 200hp shots. When they come out of the motor, that is a bad thing Plus, I think I can already hear the clutches in your tranny scream in pain My tranny could only take a 6 or 7 times at 200hp and 4 hit at 300hp before all the clutches fried.

200 is a blast on the street. Nothing like being sideways at 90+ MPH I dont get traction untill almost 4th and thats with Nittos! Defently use a progressive controller! Its a VIOLENT hit at 3000 RPMs. Its an instant 350#s of TQ to the wheels in about 200 RPM

I imagine it could be, but would you rather replace a $30 solenoid or your motor? plus, there is no way to put the hit to the ground. Its like having 2 LS1s of torque.

You have a point there but it also depends on what you have on the bottom end but your right about the hit, you cannot hit the naws all at once or you will never get traction....$30 aint squat if you have to replace 1/mth or so...

1/ month is a bit extreme, I think. Its not that bad on them. Youd have to see how hard it hits the tires to really get a feel for it, but its like $30 vs. $4000

Certainly not a whole 'noid for $30, but that's about the cost of a rebuild kit (plunger, seal, spring.)

better tune for the 200 shot! i am building a short block to take a 200 shot on a progressive controller. before it goes to the track it will be on the dyno to get the a/f ratio.

a 150 tnt killed my stock short block because it went a little lean, so be careful!
