Torque peaks at 5600 hp peaks at 6800, just what I expected. Very nice Andy! You need to wring that things guts out and turn it 7200 and let that single plane shine!!!

Thanks steve, keep you phone turned on on the 26th and hopefully I will have some good NA times at least and maybe a pass or two on the gas.

Yep, same TSP TRQ2 I've had for like 5 or 6 years.
You going to SGMP on the 26th? Looks like my son may be headed to middle east in the next month so we going to try and get as much racing in as we can before he leaves. We thought about maybe riding over and making some passes at a good track and see where it puts us with new setup. Is that a TNT day or an event?

I believe he had traction issues first time out on radials. I think he picked up a solid 5mph on HP. Ill let Andy chime in and give the details.

Sorry guys, posted on FB but forgot to do so on here. Thadd is correct, picked up 5mph on motor in much worse weather than my previous best NA pass in killer weather.

Drag radials...... Well, i love them and hate them! lol... Nah, just didn't have the time or experience to make them bite. I am putting the slicks back on to get the tune dialed in then going back to radials when i have some more concrete data. I know they will be faster but for now slicks is the best thing for me. I think i made a mistake by changing so many things at once and i knew better but I had to give it a shot. Lesson learned, get motor dialed in on spray first then learn to tune suspension on radials!

I make this same mistake over and over. All I needed was to change out my nitrous solenoids on my old 346 and I would have made the 9s. But no, I had to pull a perfectly strong motor and go with the stroker, super victor, and bigger cam. Had nothing but problems ever since.

Another example. All I needed was a new tranny this year. But, instead of just replacing the tranny I had to put another cam in it. I will never learn my lesson.

Good luck on your new combo. Picking up 5mph on motor alone is a significant gain.

Don't give up on the radials man. I've ran both slicks and radials and have ran faster on the radials with no other changes. Plus they are way more stable on the top end. They do take a little more work to hook up and the track needs to be good.
