What shot on stock LS1?

I was just wondering how large of a shot everyone recomends for a fairly stock LS1. The only real mods being exhaust, headers, and lid. I don't know whether those mods make a difference or not. Anyways, what do you guys think would be a safe amount of nitrous to use? I know everyone has differnt opinions on whether to use a dry or wet kit, so you might as well post your opinion about that too; and tell why you think one is better than the other. Thanks

Wet shot: 150 at most
Dry shot: 125 at most...

I will be running a 100 dry shot shortly.. im not the expert, so i cant tell you why one is better than the other... i just know when you pass the 125 mark with a dry kit.. your car will go boom <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

A safe shot would be:
Dry= 100 hp
Wet= TNT 75 shot
NX=100 shot

You can go more,but you asked for safe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I wouldn't recommend anyone run over 100 shot unless you have a reading on your A/F ratio. You run lean and your screwed on any shots. Get fmiliar with all the nitrous tech you can find and take heed. Spark advance/retard, fuel system-pressure and octane, A/F ratio, RPM, just a few things to consider. Since you have headers you should be checking this out anyway.

I personally run 100 shot NX, mods in sig. I won't go 125 without checking all the above more thoroughly. Better safe than <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" />

I like my nitrous like I like other things - wet is better. I just see to many posts about dry shots trowing codes or not performing as well. Not to knock anyones setup, but there are quite a few about dry and MAF codes etc...Good-luck.

these "SAFE" shots are for stock internal right??
I also was thinking about a dry 100 or wet 125-150shot. but I'm worried about the internals.
