Default Stand alone fuel setup, or in the tank?

Will the in the tank upgrade be enough for a 300 shot? What is needed for up to 500?

What intank is the best one? If a stand alone is needed, I'd like some info & or writeups on this mod, so I know what is involved. Thanks.

How are you going to spray a 300? Do you have Direct Port? I would not spray that much without direct port, and they usually require a stand alone fuel system running at low pressure.

A stand alone fuel system for direct port can be done for under $400 easy enough.

- 1 gallon cell up front (where battery goes)
- Holley Blue pump with regulator
- Braided lines and fittings

This will be with a direct port system.. I was hoping to find someone who had pics and a writeup on how to.

I guess I'll have to do the writeup. Thanks for the info though.

There are folks on this site who've already done it, and have pics. Maybe a new thread with more specific title (Direct Port Fuel System - Let's See Some Pics), or similar.

I will be doing mine soon, and will do a complete how to for my web page.

I would also like to see pics but one thing. Does the pump run all the time or do u switch it on when u are about to race cause otherwise it would seem like u are gonna keep building pressure. Please someone give me insite cause i myslef am going with a direct port setup as well.

I am going to wire mine directly to the N2O arming switch. That way the pump will only run when the N2O is armed. Many of the carb type pumps draw very little amperage.
