Default H/C and spraying fuel pump question?

I need to upgrade my fuel pump and I need some help deciding what to go with. The car made 431 RWHP on the motor and 547 RWHP on a TNT (wet kit) 100 shot. I want a pump that can handle 700 RWHP (bigger plans down the road, DP ). I've heard of plug-play units out there but don't know who makes them or where to get them. The motor leans out a little now with the 100 pills not real bad but enough to concern me. I want to be able to run the 150 pills a few passes just for a timeslip and then eventually upgrade to a DP system Any advice would be much appreciated.

Check with Racetronix. They are supposed to be coming out with a plug and play unit for the 99 and up cars soon. I think ARE sells the pumps as well.

I guess everyone is running stock fuel pumps! Either that or I don't have enough posts on this board to get a question answered. Cmon guys I don't need a page long post just tell me what kind of pump, if you like it, and who sells it?

I run a T-Rex in-line fuel pump and 30lb injectors with my set-up. I have no problems at all! You can see in my sig with safe tuning what I pulled. I love it! On stock Bottom I could raise the timing and lean her alittle and get 600rwhp out her.

Thanks for the reply guys. After doing some research I think I am going with a 340 Walboro pump. I just hope it doesn't require to much modding.

35th ss - Did you have any problems with the install?

I think you'll be real happy with the 340 pump and hotwire kit.

hey doc no problem with the install.youll need to changed the connectors from the stock lead and ground wire to connect to the walbro.might need to use a clamp to secure it back to the plastic piece that holds the pump.good luck.

Thanks for the response. I thought that I heard that there was some modification necessary for that pump. Will post later on the results.
