Default NX Wet Kit - Basic Install w/ Pics

My install is complete. Well, lets just say that it works. I still have to mount the bottle and fab up a switch plate to fit in my ashtray. I've run one whole bottle through so far with no problems...other than traction.
I have the 100 shot jets in currently. I'm getting rid of the car this summer so I didn't care too much about the asthetics of the install. I think it turned out ok especially since I had no clue what I was doing.

BIG thanks to CAT3 for all the help!

The install looks good.

What type of bellows are you using (Fernco?)

How did you attach the nozzle to the bellows?

Thanks

John

Nice install man. You can hardly tell it's there.

John- You got it. That's a Fernco hose shaved down a bit. The nozzle is supposed to have a nut that holds it in place. I pieced this kit together so I don't have that nut. The Fernco hose is so thick the nozzle threaded right in to it. It's actually pretty secure.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Looks good. I have been debating taking my loom off of my lines and letting the braided stainless bling a little, but I kinda like it..... :shrugs:

Shoot, I'll run a whole bottle through for ya Charlie.

I finally fabbed up a switch plate. It's replaces the ashtray. Now I need a to mount the bottle and get a warmer. I've yet to feel the hit with the psi around 950 or so.

You'll need at least the following with the NX wet kit:

1. Fuel Solenoid
2. Nitrous Solenoid
3. Bottle
4. Bottle Feed Line
5. Nitrous Line
6. Fuel Line
7. Shark Nozzle
8. Jets

The following aren't mandatory for the kit to function, but they should probably come with it depeding on price:

1. WOT switch (Wide Open Throttle)
2. FPSS (Fuel Pressure Sensor Switch)
3. Purge solenoid
4. Bottle heater
5. Switches

Edit: Switches are mandatory, but you can buy a few at Radio Shack for $5. That's what I did. They don't necessarily have to come with the kit. It would be nice though.

Edit again: You'll need some fittings too (i.e. a fitting to connect the nitrous/fuel line to the solenoids).

You got a good deal providing he actually mails out the jets and the nozzle. Was it someone from the board here? If so, let us know if you never receive your goods. We (collective LS1tech.com members) can help. Even without the jets and the nozzle, that's not a bad deal.

Damn I hate thieves. Very well put together system. And if you were going for low key, you achieved it. Some loom cover and black tape, that kit is invisible at night. Im a big fan of the TNT system, but you cant exactly hide the power ring.

Thanks for the compliment Fast SS on NOS. I really wasn't going for the stealth look. It's just a simpel & clean kit. I'm going to cover the braided lines with black loom and I'm thinking about mounting the nozzle on the bottom of the bellows.
