Mine is the exact same. I already hit 10s with stock 241s and have a kit sitting here ready for install. Going for 9s rowing gears of course.

Sweet! Do you have a build thread?

That gives me lots of hope but maybe my expectations are a little low then. LOL My local track doesn't prep much though, the track has been really bad the last few years. I'd love to see my car exceed expectations.

I want to enjoy wrenching in the garage, testing, building it correctly and then driving it. I like to continually better what the car is capable of but know that I am quickly approaching the point of no return...and have lost sight of budget already. lol
that is the truth there... past up my budget a long time ago... but I keep going for some odd reason..

I do not have a build thread. You have realistic expectations. As I am pretty sure I can go 9s. Went 10.86 cam only damn 200 hit should get me there I hope lol.

My son and I just were on the power tour with the car. What a blast!
We met a really cool father/son who were in a cammed LT camaro and he had a go pro. Here is a video he loaded following me as my son was driving my car, he opened the cut out as we came into this town and watch at the right side when a little kid plugs his ears. It was a lot of fun.

It can be done with 241 heads....I did it with a hydraulic roller cam while rowing the gears ..it can be done but you might want to step up to a 28" tire

I am setting the trick flow heads aside until I boost. Made it to the track last Saturday but got rained out so hopefully return soon. I did finally get the nitrous installed and the progressive wired up. I just need to figure out how to set the progressive up and go spray this thing. I installed non-projected tip plugs and now it idles terrible. I guess that's part of the price for nitrous? We have not tried retuning the idle yet.

When I bought the a previous owner had welded rectangular stock to the chassis as a form of subframe connector. I didnt like them or the flex my tunnel mount torque seemed to be creating in the floor of the car so I installed a set of umi three point subframe connectors. It's a whole new car! Handles very solid now. Also installed the umi drag bar, links set to neutral tension but I just realized my buddy's links point straight down and mine are severely angled. I am going to have to figure out how these need to be set up correctly.

This may come as a shocker but I have decided to quit messing around with 420-450 rwhp and a shot of nitrous...it's time for big power. I will be creating a new build thread in the Forced Inductions section. I am going to have some very nice low mileage parts for sale soon including my entire T56 set up.

My latest parts acquisition: a Borg Warner S480 billet

Made it to the track tonight and got a few passes in before we were rained out.

10.65 @ 131 mph. Still figuring out how the progressive works. This was on a small shot, terrible track (no limits in Morocco IN) and 2,800 da. I will keep getting the bugs worked out.

That 10.60 et was not launching with the spray. Everytime I try to bring the spray on to help the launch I haze the tires. Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations on how to set up my suspension and how fast to bring in the progressive?

The boost build will happen this winter, I plan to finish playing around this season on the spray. ;-) Then the REAL fun begins. LOL

Changing things up a little bit some new shoes and a slush box.

Weld RTS with 295 Et Street Radials to go along with my new 4L80 transmission. Doctors say I should stop shifting a manual since I keep re-injuring my rib that's broke loose on the right side. Decided to stick with an overdrive and picked up a fully built 4L80 with a Precision Industries 3 disc billet converter and sfi flywheel.

Car looks really good man. That 4L80 will help carry that nitrous off the launch. What stall?

It's a precision industries 3500 9.5 vigilante 3 billet disk lock up turbo converter. Not ideal for my nitrous but that's being removed in a month or two. The car would have been on the road again but my driveshaft company built the driveshaft too short and I have to go back to have him rebuild it.

Nice build! My build is the same, but for now i have 100% stock internals, car makes 385rwhp on motor, weighs 3100 pounds, runs 11.3x on motor leaving soft(tenbolt), no times on spray as im putting an 8.8 in the back.

You're right next to me too, im over in crete Il, right next to dyer indiana.

I grew up in dyer. I know the area well. We will have to connect sometime.
