03 cobra forced me to do it!!
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
i raced an 03 silver cobra in philly about 2 weeks ago with kooks headers and x pipe... he also has alot more work done including pullies and all the other little things that can be done if its the same guy. He beat my 99 ws-6 by about a car length but i wasnt spraying and yes its true all mustang owners (at least down in philly) are complete a-holes.
i wanna take another run at that cobra when i get the bottle filled
Going back to the FORD GUYS! How many GM's have super chargers on them, from the factory....none! but the good old ford guys seem to think they need them. Anything to compete with the GM guys huh?

First off, I have an LS1, and I did have a '99 Cobra. Why do you degrade Ford for putting s/c's to make power? They are 65 c.i. smaller, yet they have a s/c. The '00 Cobra R w/ a 5.4L DOHC (i.e. larger version of 4.6), puts about 370-380 to the ground. My question is, what exactly do you think a DOHC 5.8L engine would put out vs. the LS1 5.7L? I think the LS1's pull like crazy, and I really don't have much done to mine, but I think you should give credit where it's due, and I think the '03 Cobra's are pretty dam nice. And BTW, there is one here in Orlando w/ DR's, x-pipe, cat-back, pulley, intake, and chip that is running 11.1X's(about $1500-$1700 in mods).
Took my breath away and made me realize that any car can be made to go fast.
