Anyone Using The Leash Single Stage Nitrous Board?
Here is what I'm going to do regarding pulling timing: Got this from 03EBZO6
Yes, its just that easy.
I use NOS Mini in this configuration:
Channel 1: Nitrous Noids
Channel 2: EFI COS5
You could in theory put both on Channel 1, but here is why I would not:
As soon as the window is active, COS5 is active. This means you get an immediate spark reduction. HOWEVER, as soon as the window is closed, you also get 100% of the spark back immediately.
So at that instant spark comes back, to keep the nitrous mix/combustion from tangling w/full spark, I add about 200rpm to the window on channel 2.
For example:
Channel 1: 3800-6800
Channel 2: 3800-7000

I just got my Leash Single Stage Board, it's ******* sweet.
You can barley buy the parts for the price of it!
I'll let you know how the install goes, and I am putting mine on the inside of the glove box door of my car.

Cool, that's great to hear. Post uppics of how you run everything to it and how you mount it to tuck and hide everything. I want mine to look ss clean and factory looking as possible.
According to Lingenfelter this is not true. I called them 3 months ago asking if the timing tables would show the change via the OBDII port and they told me no. According to there tech the only way to see the retard is via the grey output wire from the box. This could be wrong but that's from the horses mouth.

It plugs into the coil so the engine can see the amount of timing, the Timing Tuner and Timing Twister "trick" the PCM and it still believes its running full timing.
This was told to me from the Nitrous Outlet tech support guys.
I purchased a leashed single stage board to clean up my current install. I will be wiring this in with a NOS mini controller.
I'm mounting it down on the pass side kick panel in a fox body mustang.
I'll post pics when done.

Funny I was told that if your logging and wire it up to your master arm switch that you can flip the toggle and it will pull the timing and show it in the log.

Where did you get those strips at? So on one strip it has a wire that connects to a ground and on the other strip a wire connects to a 12v fused source? Just trying to figure it out in my head as I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to hook up mine. Thanks for the info.

Did you pull the 12v fuse source from the fuse box in the engine compartment or from the fuse panel by the driver's side door?
Also, do most of those wires need to be fused, or are they fused using the relay you got with the nitrous kit?

They are fused by the wire from the fuse box that feeds it. I had a spare place in my fuse box that I created just for this. I have a ls1 in a mustang so my fuse box may vary from yours, but the same concept should apply
