Nitrous compression ratio
I'm freshening up my 408 going with ls3 trick flows 255s heads from Frankenstein racing, I'm going with the holley system this time, senting my 4500 flange ls3 super Victor to Jeff prock@ applied nitrous to do a single stage dry set up. Plan to spray 450hp max going to start around 300 hp.. car will be around 3100 race weight... going to run vp c23 race gas.. What compression ratio will be good also this is a track only car..
Yea going to run at least a 0.60 gasket just trying to see what compression ratio was thinking around 12. 1 or 13.1 what would we the hp different in the too? Because they head are 69cc now
With c23 you can get away with alot of compression but like always the tune has to be on point. If your not jet limited I would run 13.1-14.1. I tune a LS motor with 15.8 compression that is jet limited. When it was flowing 200-225 it was pretty easy. Once we started freezing the nitrous and pushing it which had it consuming roughly 400 worth of nitrous she got very timing sensitive. Are you going solid roller?
