Looks good. After you get back I'd sand down all the casting flash on the manifold and re-shoot it. With a DP kit as nice as that it should be complemented by a smooth paint job

How much did NX charge you to do that and how long did it take them?

Cannibal: I agree with the smooth texture coment, I am going to take it to a paint shop and have them do a real thick clear coat and that will give it the smooth look, we did it on my ls6 the same way, it was never sanded and it looks smooth as ice.

98VOBRASVT: If I told you the price I would have to kill you. .....You can get one for the low price of $1650!! It only took about 2&1/2 weeks to do.

$1650 just for the install or does that include the manifold as well?

That price is the DP kit, which includes everything you need to hook it up, with the uprgaded fuel rails, laser etching, upgraded cylinoids, and plumbing and jets ranging from 200 to 500hp, the intake I bought from TSP.

That price is really not that bad considering all that is included and what a normal DP usually costs.

looks awsome but so yall think the 90 degree turns right after the noids might cause a problem with flow at say 250+hp shots?

By upgraded fuel lines do you mean it replaces your injector fuel rail or its just a polished fuel rail instead of the standard one?

Looks great!!!! I see where the main nitrous line hooks up to the N20 Noid, but with your purge noid to the left, will the billet fuel be in the way where the fitting normally comes out of the purge noid? Or am I missing something... not sure where your purge line will come from if not from the purge noid? Please advise... thanks!

Actually I noticed that too, it was on the other side, we had a hell of a time getting the plug that fills the purge hole out of the N20 noid, ended up taking the black piece loose, it turned around on us and thats how the purge ended up on that side, I have fixed it now and I will change the pics after the intake gets back from the clearcoating, I turned the noid back around and it sits on the right of the N20 noid now, looks much better and it clears everything!!!

After looking at that compared to my NX GM MAF kit, I decided that I have a very very very small *****.

Damn I'm tired, I began this install 2 days ago, total of about 28hrs!!! That's got to be a record for an intake install!!!! I can't feel the tips of my fingers. time for a few of those...

Its not like there was anything that difficult about it. You did take your sweet *** time doing it.

But it does look PIMPTASTIC!
