Ok guys I need some help building a good nitrous set up. I have a plate kit for my escalade with a 10lb bottle. Looking to be as safe as possible. I'm thinking of a stand alone fuel system, and that's about where Im at lol.

2007 escalade and non flex fuel
Ported heads
Ls9 cam
Melling high pressure oil pump and c5r chain.
Was going to do an lsa superchRger but it's hard to find a complete kit and I don't know if I want to chance a d1sc on it. I figured with a wet kit and a standa lone fuel system I can get the most out of it somewhat safely.

A Dedicated fuel system is a great start. I would also looking in to a window swith with tps or a progressive controller as well as a LNC-2000. The lnc-2000 will give you the ability to have all motor timing when the nitrous system is not armed. And when you arm the nitrous it will pull timing automatically.

Standalone will mount perfectly in the front where the second battery would go. (Opposite side of the air box)


More importantly- Any video of your exhaust with that cam?

If you are going to be getting a dedicated for use with the nitrous system then I'd suggest going with a low pressure unit. The lower pressure will allow you to use a larger fuel jet in most cases. Have you seen the low pressure dedicated that we offer? Also if looking to spray a larger shot but want the ultimate controllability of the system I'd suggest going with our Maximizer4 progressive unit.

I was wanting to spray 150 shot. I know this kit was on my friends l92 and he sprayed 175 to try and blow it and it's still going. Lol I think 150 would be my max

I am running the stock cat back because I haven't found an aftermarket system that's 3.5" like our stock one. And because it has a normal rough idle I raised it 675rpm at idle. The can is awesome and I am break the front wheels loose going into second but it doesn't pull hard until 3k. The cam desperately needs a stall or to be offset with spray.

So I need to upgrade injectors to maybe the flex fuel injectors since they are 54psi
