Default Nitrous Kit

Hey guys looking for some advice on which kit to go for. The set up will be going on a C5Z with LS6 and basic bolt ons making ~400whp. The major upgardes are LTs with offroad xpipe, CAI and a tune. Everything else is stock including the clutch.
I want to purchase a kit soon to spray at most 100shot and always thought the best option for such small shot is a dry kit. Talked to a few vendors (which btw were very helpfull) but i kept getting different inputs, some said wet kit is the best some said for 100shot just do a dry shot and call it a day. I know the best option would be a wet plate but i just cant justify spending ~$1500 for just 100shot. Will eventually be getting a SC kit but for now a 100shot dry kit i thought should be sufficient enough.
What do you guys think, should i go for the dry kit or wet kit?

Either one is fine, but with a dry kit you'll need to upgrade the injectors

You dont think the stock injectors would be enough for 100 shot?

In the end, a wet kit will more than likely be better for your setup. Even spraying through the MAF, it can only correct the fueling so much, and if you're spraying enough (~150hp) through the MAF it can actually freeze it. A wet plate system is just a little more, and will give much easier tunability, and also give you the ability to run more nitrous when you're ready to.

This. A wet system is alot simpler overall, and tuning is super easy, just pull out some timing. (3-4* for 100 shot would be very safe.) You can pull your fuel right off the schraeder valve, no problem running 100hp pulling fuel from the rail either.

For what you want 100shot for a 500rwhp total either one will be fine you will have to spend money on injectors with the dry or on the system with the wet. If you think you might go boost you will need injectors for that anyway. I might have some if your in the Detroit area. I think the wet kit is an easier set up myself so if doing the work your self keep that in mind.

Thanks guys for all the info, it seems like the wet kit does seem to be more feasible and safer.

The wet kit is a much safer option in the long run. The NX Proton Plus System is an awesome deal, comes with everything that you need to install as well as instructions. I've seen great results spraying a 125 shot on my Z28. I'm pulling fuel off the shrader valve.
