LS1/LS6 Wet Nitrous System 75-125hp
Hello guys got a question for you guys. I'm not to familiar with nitrous knowledge so bare with me. I am looking at the ZEX LS1/LS6 Wet Nitrous System 75-125hp. I already have a mail order tune done by frost for all my bolt ons. Would I need tuning if I plan on setting it up for just a 100 shot? Thanks guys I apppreciate it.

Most people nowadays just use a device to pull timing from their NA tune only when the nitrous is active. It's good to link up with a tuner and do some pulls to monitor everything and make minor adjustments as needed. I wouldn't do a mail order for something like this. But I don't think you'll need to switch to a "nitrous tune" that hurts NA performance... Especially for just a 100 shot.

Yeah you will need to have it tuned. Best bet it to have it on the dyno so everything gets monitored. Like mentioned above, most people just use a timing device to pull timing when nitrous is armed.
I myself have a wire into my pcm with an extra relay tapped into my nitrous system. So that why once I arm the system, I have 8 degrees pulled. An wideband gauge helps to monitor your A/F and get some colder plugs.

Yep..... Like he says..... Most tuners will put as much timing in as they can to squeeze out the most they can get..... You run a bit less timing on nitrous...

Thanks for the replies guys. So basically if I went with a nitrous kit I could keep my tune that I have and buy the LNC2000 controller to pull the timing, and I should be good then correct. Just so I understand thoroughly.

Another thing to look at is a stand alone fuel cell and run c16 in it. I'm a bolt on/tuned car and am piecing my build together this winter for next season and am going this route. In the spring I'm going to bring it to my tuner and just run a nitrous tune N/A. Hoping to only have to pull a few degrees out if any and not be able to notice it when I'm not spraying but we will see.
