Default Need advice on nitrous setup for c5

Hello, hoping some knowledgeable fellows with experience can point me in the right direction here. I bought a 99 c5 corvette coupe base 6mt with 160k miles. yes you read that correctly lol. I will own this car for approximately 6 months before I sell it. just going to run it this summer and move it on. I just want to know what the cheapest/safest nitrous setup would be for me. I do have a 10lb bottle and some selonoids a friend gave me. I will attach pics if possible. Didnt know if I could piece together something for cheap that way or if going new would be better. I did all the research I could but I am a newbie to LS motors and nitrous. I am thinking around a 100 shot. I dont want to blow the motor but I know there is always the chance. car is stock besides the ziptie mod and straight pipes. I am able to install a kit myself I think. I hope I can get away without having to dyno tune my car any advice is appreciated. Money is a issue so the cheaper the better. I dont want to skip the must have safety devices but was hoping a few 100 bucks could get me rollin. Sorry for the long post, but thanks in advance for the replies.

Personally I would not do it with my ride, but many have sprayed their bone stock LS1's with a 100 shot with no changes and have had no issues. That would be cheap as hell lol. If it were me I'd fell better pulling a little timing, running the proper plug and some type of tune....or at least know the a/f

I will change plugs...that's not too expensive. Whats the cheapest way to pull timing?

Not sure exactly the cheapest route, but the easiest and most simple way is to get something like the LNC-2000 timing retard box. This way way you can switch between n/a and N20 tunes in an instance

Ok. So what do I need to complete my setup I have? Or what kit do I buy new and where? Or should I try to find a used setup?

New or used is up to you. Whatever the budget allows. I've bought used before with no issues. I'm partial to NX, Nitrous Outlet and NOS. Call any one of them and they will get in detail and figure out precisely whats best for you. Beyond the kit itself I'd get a bottle heater, window switch, fuel and nitrous gauge. Of course making sure your fuel system is up to par is paramount too
