Nitrous motor life expectancy
On a sbe ls1 with a .082 jet through a plate and a good tune with c16 in a dedicated, what can I expect as far as this thing lasting? I have br8 plugs in it. 8 degrees pulled.

TOTALLY depends on how hard you run it. This is like asking how long a normal engine will run, only with more power. NO way to predict that!

ALot of things come into play: How well u setup your car for nitrous (supporting mods).
How well your tuner setup your car.
How much nitrous your running
How often u spray your car
I believe u may want slight lean AFs when going WOT when running spray. (Correct me if iam wrong). Your tuner should know how to setup your tune if you tell him you plan on spraying.
If you are manual and u miss a shift...then ka-boom!!!! So if you have auto that would be better....other things also.
Getting the right spark plugs with the right gap is important. Running retarded ignition timing helps but again must be correct depending on how much nitrous u run. A good flowing exhaust system or even say good headers with 3" cutout would be ideal. I've always believed in spraying directly into the intake manifold. So maybe pick up a spare ls1 intake manifold for cheap. (u dont have too do this) lol
