Default Soft Line Direct Port?

So I am getting ready to do a direct port nitrous install next year and am gathering all the information I can before hand. I really like the idea behind the soft line direct port systems, but it seems hardly anyone has really done any. Is there a reason for this or is it just because everyone and their mother likes the look of the hardline setups? Not that I have anything against the hardline setups, I just want to do something different that nobody else really has. Anyone that has any soft line setups, feel free to post pictures for inspiration as well.

The nitrous has no idea what kind of line its going through

If you have the means to do it go for it!

Oh I definitely plan on going for it lol. I've already got most of the details ironed out. I'm teeing off of the fuel feed line (return style e-85 system that I'm in the middle of building right now), running some -6 ptfe lines from the solenoids to some custom machined rails, then the nylon lines from the rails to the fittings on the intake. Just seems way easier than having to bend hard lines too.

And don't have to worry about them bending and breaking over time during a jet change....

When I go DP it will be soft line. Hardline plumbing cost 600 bucks in labor. Vs 200 bucks in 16 softlines at $12ish a line.

I have a NOS Noszle setup and it uses softlines. Works just fine and have never had an issue. I also have bought the softline adapters from NX, you have to use their jets, but it works great and is easier to hide and route in the engine for for a single nozzle.

whats the most you would spray through it? A single solenoid setup doesnt flow much over a 32 jet(about 325hp through our jet chart)

I wouldn't got anything more than a 200 maybe 250 shot at the max. I'll probably start off with 100, then 150, then 200 and I'm feeling really ballsy, 250. I know the 100 shot is at the low end of the jet sizes even with e85 but I want to start small and work my way up. A plate kit would be more than enough for my goals, but I really like the idea of direct port plus I want to be different than every other gto out there lol. I was gonna talk to you guys about getting a kit put together when the time comes too but that wont be for a few more months at least. I still have to finish the build I'm currently in the middle of first...

I most definitely will!

In the meantime, if anyone else that has done a soft line setup as well has anything else to chime in I would greatly appreciate it. I feel like the soft line crowd is slim pickens around these parts lol
