Hooking up nitrous for the first time on the stock LS1 in my Monte Carlo, have a NX wet single nozzle setup, plan on running 100 at first and 150 once I get more comfortable with it. Was wondering what I should be running for plugs and how much timing I should take out and would it have to be different plugs between the two amounts? I know I’ll have to take a little more timing out with the 150
also curious if I mounted the bottle at this angle (pic attached) if that would be too much? The spare tire well is just a smidge too short to have it laying down and really don’t wanna have to run it on the trunk floor
Is your engine stock?
What nitrous system are you running?
Some are rated at the flywheel, some at the tire.
That will make a difference in how much timing to pull.
The rule of thumb is to pull 2 degree's of timing per 50hp.
The plug you want to use is an NGK BR7EF, part number 3346.
Gap should be at .032-.035, and that plug will be fine for the 100-150 shot you want to run.
Have fun!

Engine is stock, NX single nozzle wet kit
is having the bottle at that steep of an angle okay?
Also, with modern ignitions and FI, the colder plugs you need for the spray will be fine to leave in all the time. It is not like the old days when your racing plugs would foul out every time you tried to idle at a stoplight.
How does this wiring look? Have both solenoids together on power and ground, grounded to cylinder head and power into one side of the WOT switch, still need to run power from the WOT switch to? I was thinking to the alternator so it always sees max voltage and only on when it’s running

Well, unless you plan on spraying the car every time you go WOT, you will want the WOT switch to be interrupted by an arming switch so you can run it wide open on motor as well.

I have a momentary switch on the steering wheel, forgot to write that haha
This wiring setup look okay? Running an LNC-002 to pull timing for the nitrous, can I power everything off the small stud on the back of the alternator? Also running a 20amp inline fuse
definitely mount the nozzle after the MAF. If you hit the MAF with it, it will skew the MAFs readings/possibly damage it.
Ended up putting it in the coupler right before the throttle body and got everything wired up and working correctly and raced with it all day a couple sundays ago with no issues, thanks for the help everyone!
