Default Bottle Warmer Turns Off Unexpectedly

Hi guys,

My bottle warmer shuts off regardless of pressure after running for 20-30 minutes regardless if it reaches pressure or not. It's been cold lately so it has to run for a while to get up to pressure. The bottle pressure might only be 850psi when it shuts off. Other times it'll heat up to 975psi. The heater is the Nitrous Outlet bottle bracket/heater in one. I'll check the thermostatic switch to see if I have continuity next time it happens. Just seeing if others have run into this issue.

My fix is to disconnect 12v for a minute and then reconnect and it comes back on. Thoughts?

I would think it's either the switch or the relay getting hot

Try to warm the bottle before you leave your house and use the warmer to maintain pressure instead of heating it up from being in the cold. Letting the bottle sit in hot water for a while is a good, easy way to heat it up to your desired pressure before leaving the house.

I appreciate the response. Sometimes I'm at the track and don't have access to other methods of heating. The gentleman I spoke with at Nitrous Outlet hadn't heard of the issue before and didn't have any suggestions.

Also, how is it wired up? Distance of wiring, gauge, what connectors? Etc..

Utilize the heat to keep the car hot inside. When its summer out, this isn't much of an issue, but when it gets into the cooler weather, I will start the car and turn the heat on high to make it bake inside.

Uninterrupted 12v is delivered directly from the battery to the rear of the car with a 4 gauge wire terminated to a 4 terminal distribution block.
Heater Uses a relay commanded by a toggle switch.
A 30a fused link (included with the heater) is wired between the relay and the heater. Hasn't ever blown a fuse.
Using standard 2 conductor Deutsch connectors

I've actually done this in the staging lanes at the track. I would like to fix the actual issue tho.
