Yes...lets get some feedback rolling. I dont recall seeing anyones kit work without modification. As they say "the squeeky wheel gets the grease"

keep this thread fact oriented and maybe we can get the info to NX. I know they are aware of the problem...but maybe not the extent.

Please post up experiances, dynos, wideband readings, track experiances, mods that helped the kit or anything else that is FIRSTHAND. Positive as well as negative.

I think if we can get enough info in this thread we can take it directly to NX. That kit wasnt cheap...it should perform as advertised.

Post is stickied for a few days until we get some feedback.

Not my own personal experience, but when Charlie (CAT3 I believe??) had his NXL and after getting the fuel noids replaced on his system his car seemed to run pretty well - his fuel noids weren't activating at all. He had the 180 shot in and I believe he ran a little better than his old system did on the 150 shot. He was running very low 11's if I recall, I think his car was a cam only car.

Glenn (ICULUKN) over on the corvetteforum seems happy with his kit and posted good results. He is the only guy I know of.

I think the kit has great potential. However, I've had some problems.

The huge lean spike upon initial activation. So I bought the fuel accumulator.
Rail lifted off injectors, fuel everywhere. Tow truck bill and new seals.
Fuel solenoids apparently not working. Barely an audible click, and no fuel comes out of rail. This is backed up by VERY lean dyno runs, and atap logs.

Kit does not make good torque. I can only assume this is/was due to the fact it had a huge lean spike, and there was no fuel. My 2nd dyno session with the kit on resulted in less power, and problem found with the fuel noids not working.

I am not happy with the kit, and have not been so far. My TNT kit with 100 shot made tons of power, and tons of torque. I wish I had stayed with that at times. Hopefully NX can make it right, and make us happy. Otherwise, I'll be a TNT customer again.

I havent dyno'd mine yet but my track results are not real promising. I thought it may have been a temperature issue the first time out but it doesnt appear that way. I have pulled 4° of timing for the shot and when I autotap it the car is STILL pulling 3-4°s of knock retard which makes me think I am real lean with the NXL jetting they recommend. My ET is only dropping about .35 with a 120 shot and my trap speed is going up 5mph which both seem VERY low for a 120 shot.

Again I havent dyno'd but those are my on track results.

It may be the fuel solenoid isnt opening fully. It may be the jetting NX recommends is WAY off.

Ok, here are my problems that I have had with the kit:
$$$ = COST ME MONEY!!!

1. The cross over line was too short, so we had to use braided fuel line $$$
2. The brackets would not hold (did not have the star washers) so we had to fab up custom brackets $$$ see number 3
3. Since the brackets would not hold they popped off while driving spraying fuel everywhere on my HOT engine. Towbill and back to the shop for custom brackets (see number 2) $$$
4. Ordered the accumulator $$$
5. Muliple dyno runs, swapping out jets because it was either too lean/rich ($$$ for the shipping and breaking the lines while changing the jets)
6. 90# of wasted nitrous while tuning it $$$
7. Breaking lines changing the jets - they break at the collar!!! $$$
