New Track Best with a 150 shot - 10.56 at 125mph
New best - that's because this is the first run on a 150 shot
Found out that with the 150 shot I need larger tires (I really do NOT want to go backwards to 4.11/4.10's). Ran out of gear at about 1000-1100' marker and "coasted" through the traps. (I have the nitrous cut off at 6800 rpms - about the limit of my stock bottom end)

60' 1.466 1.446 1.423
1/8 6.843 6.767 6.691
MPH 101.296 101.860 101.864
1000' 8.881 8.806 8.721
1/4 10.728 10.651 10.565
MPH 125.187 125.062 125.158
Best yet I went 3 rounds until I ran into a "digger"
Very please. Stock bottom end, PP Stage II heads, TSP 231/237, DA 3790+

Thanks guys
Debian Dog. IMO wet is the only way to go. TNT builds a great set up. You put in a 100 shot, that's what you get 100 hp.
JS - Right now I have 28x10.5x15 for my nitrous runs; w/4.30 gears. With the 100 shot I cross the traps as the shift light comes on. With the 150 shot I will be needing to go bigger - 30x10.5x15 and cutting the fender. I have my window switch set at 6800, I shift at 6700. Yes I spray through the gears. But IMO if something would happen to delay the shift, the nitrous would cut off before my rev limiter (which is set at 6900). Is it good for a stock bottom end? More than likely not, but that's racing - always pushing for more.
Your 4.10 w/27x10x15 should be just fine. I didn't know Hoosier made 27's, I was infact looking for a set of 27's to run on engine only. Settled on the MT 28x9x15 which is 27.3" tall. Where did you get your hoosiers from - Summit?
Good luck.

Yeah I had the dry kit a long time, back when I thought man if I could just hit an 11 with 2.73 gears. Now I plan on doing a direct port with a 9" and 3.42's, keeping it a "street car". I am not a big believer in letting the intake try and flow fuel.

JS - on your tires - watch the roll-out - 28x10.5x15 have like a 88" (28.1" high) roll-out - but the 28x9x15 have only an 86" roll-out (27.3") . There is a difference on how your car will finish. IMO the 28x9 with 4.10's and a 100 shot will be good. For the 150 shot you MAY need bigger.
KP... that's racing . Thanks

awsome times man. your car sure can hookup. i can only get 1.60s on the spray but i dont have a transbrake and am only running 3.73s. once i finish my hybred 8.5/7.5 i'm building, i will end up with a 4.10 gear and 26's. hopefully i can get that to work. if not, then on with the 28's

Just ordered Goodyear 30x9x15 (I believe 92" roll-out) - cutting the fenders - just a little to make them fit for the tires growth. Hopefully my slow *** march to 9's is back on track. Maybe this fall with some good air
Taqwache - I have about every suspension upgrade - I also just ordered the Wolfe Race Sway bar - those 3' wheely's are fun but doesn't add to the effort. Just to show you what 60' really mean: 1st run - 1.44 60' end up with a 10.65; 2nd run 1.44 10.72; 3rd run 1.42 - 10.56; on the 4th run I had to abort (don't really want to go into it) it did a 1.41 60' - would have loved to see what that time would have been. Time will tell - all that with 3700'+ DA

I got my 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP's from MacCormack Racing 1-800-999-DRAG. They are about 160 each but they don't charge shipping and can deliver them to you in 2 days.
Good luck.

Mike c. Still just IMO, but HP, 60', launch technique, tranny, converter, gears, all lead to what tire you need.
The only way you will find out for sure is try it. To go a little bigger is better than to small.
By the way the 30x9x15 Goodyears are on. We took our time. You can't really tell that the fenders are cut. THE GOODYEARS ARE HUGE. They fill the entire fender well. I'll get some pictures one of these days.
