Fuel system for 800+rwhp?

Default Fuel system for 800+rwhp?

I plan on trying to make some decent rwhp. What options do I have?

Plan on ~525ish motor, ~250ish spray.

Should I run a dedicated fuel system for the spray? What have you other guys done that have similar hp?

Depending on what kind of nitrous setup you are going to run, if running a direct port, I would run a seperate low pressure system.

I was running a tnt plate system, i used a full aeromotive a1000 system on my car then. Now I am going direct port and i am going to run a seperate holley low pressure fuel pump.

If you are going to use the NXL rails, you can't run a seperate fuel system - so I'd either go with a dual intank Walbro 340 set up (what I have), maybe upgrade the feed line and use your current feed line as a return to the tank with an aftermarket fuel regulator..... OR go with a custom external set up with an aluminum sumped tank and a big Aeromotive pump and regulator like TA Pimp said he was using.

One idea I had was if you want to run a seperate low pressure fuel system with its own reservoir, you could see if Nitrous Dave or someone else would sell you just the fuel/N20 rails + solenoids from the NX pirhanna direct port system and instead of using the Pirhanna nozzles, use the NXL nozzles. Kinda expensive, but if you're already talking about upgrading the fuel system etc. it might be an interesting idea. I had thought of using the NX Pirhanna DP set up myself instead of the NXL rails.

I'm gonna be close to 500 NA (engine pretty much finished @ ARE) and running a Racetronix fuel-pump for that.
For the N2O, it's a low-pressure rail w/ independant fuel-pump... I'm gonna be jetting the N2O for +300 shot and well see from there.
I have a TNT-DP kit, fully-loaded, including a timing-tuner and the NX-Maximizer (new version)

Better invest in a cage and make sure you upgrade your tires and suspension to hook that mother up, bro

And here I was gonna be happy with "only" 575 rwhp on the 150 shot

for 500+ on motor i would go with a good size pump and bigger injectors like 30lb+. then use a seperate low pressure system for the spray like others are talking about. a 1 gallon fuel cell, holley blue pump and regulator. also i would rather go with a real DP for a 250 shot like a NOS ProFogger, TNT DP, or NX Piranha system. what kind of internals are you looking at. that will be important also.

Internals = callies crank, eagle rods, ross pistons

paul, yes, springtime = cage/hardened shafts. probably will launch on the motor, and then hit it later. of course, this is all in theory anyway.

the zo6/vette pumps are good to 550+. I will have larger injectors on it to feed the 422. looks like i may sell the nxl and get a real direct port, like you guys mention. easier to tune, safer to use, etc.

I have an aremotive Eliminator pump -12in -10out. I then ran a -10 line to rail, looped the Speed Inc. rail with -8, ran -8 to the regulator, and then finally -8 to the rear as a return. I used a Speed Inc sump tank also. I am good to 1100rwhp without forced induction. I made 680 to the wheels and fuel definitely wasn't a problem.
