It's not going to work very well-nitrous likes cams with a traditional split and a little higher LSA (less overlap). Try a search on this--I remember seeing a lot of questions about the tr230 and n20 when the cam first came out.

Not working well with this cam is a misconception. I had a 230/224 111LSA cam in my '98 SS and it ran great on the spray. Just think of it as a 224/224 cam with the bonus of a little extra intake duration. Everybody likes the 224/224 cam with the spray, so how much can an extra 4 degrees of intake duration hurt? None.

It's my understanding that cam specs are virtually irrelevant for nitrous shots of 150 HP or less. If you're not going to be spraying more than a 150 shot, pick the cam you want for NA use and go with it.

That cam with stage I TEA heads and a mac daddy dual stage got 680 rwhp on stock bottom end car. That was about a 290 shot (actual).So it works fine with nitrous. Not the best...but it works for what we generally do in the LS1 world.
