Advantages:
Easy install
Extremely easy to hide

Not really disadvantages:
You'll need bigger injectors and an intank pump to spray big shots

I have the 5177 kit. As soon as I have cash, I'll be buying 30lb injectors so that I can spray 150 - 175 shot.

What did they do when they caught you? Was it CHP or local PD?

Dave i tried opening your site yesterday and it wouldnt work.i dnt know if its still down.i dont really want to hide it as much as be legal.but ive heard that you can get lean real easy w/ a dry kit...from not getting enough fuel.but i also noticed that the 5177 has a low fuel pressure shut-off....does this work well.TIA.

CHP,he was a gearhead and he said wet was illegal cuz it adds fuel off the rail;as to where a dry adds thru ECU.

That is the est thing I've ever heard! I think he's full of **** personally, I talked to one of my cop friends and the only thing he can think of that would cover nitrous is "tampering with emissions equipment." IE modifying your intake. Oh well.

probable cause is enough I believe. If he sees the bottle, I'd think that would be probable cause. Oh well, it sure would be nice if it was clearly defined in the vehicle code.

5177 is the way to go dry IMO. Some guys are splitting the dual solenoid and running upto 180/200hp shot, but you better have things in order.
