Default What nitrous setup for H/C?

I have a 01' SS w/ Absolute Speed stage 2 5.3's and a 230/236 cam.

ARP rod bolts, Yella Terras, 977's w/ comp r lifters.....the car is put together really well.

I do have a 12 bolt w/ 4.11's.

My question is...I spared no expense with the H/C setup so that I could cut down my worries and have a well running quality car. What would you reccomend as a quality nitrous setup..that is safe but delivers good power.

If fuel upgrades are needed I have no problems doing that....I almost anticipate doing a fuel pump, but are injectors and fuel rails needed?

Also what kit, and what accessories do you guys recommend.

I have never ran nitrous in a car before so any help is appreciated!!

Take your pick, lots of good nitrous kits to choose from. Mild to wild. Single nossle, MAF kit, NXL, direct port. The MAF kit is a real nice clean kit that makes good power.

You can see in sig what i have. For fuel all we did was add a T-rex fuel pump and 30lb inj. I have a wet kit TNT F2 kit and love it. I spray a 150 shot now. Was a 100 before. You have to tune it for the spray big time. I got 441rwhp N/A and 650rwhp on 150 shot. This is with stock bottom. Everything is about tuning. Your wet kits get more to the rear wheels verses dry kits. It`s we`ll worth it. I love mine!!

I know you are running it....and making big power....but across the board is that a safe shot of nitrous or is that kinda on the edge?

Also what accessories would you recommend for the TNT F2 kit....what makes it dependable and safe...and what accessories are good for convenience ( remote bottle opener...cool purge setup...things like that)?

Mike,I would look into a quality system like NX or TNT.I would also upgrade your fuel system.Your stock bottom end will take a 150 hp setting with no problem. If you would like some one on one help send me a pm.Ill answer any tech questions you have.

we did a NOSzle system (ls1 setup with single noids) on a ESP H/C car.
the kit came 100% it went in verry nice, and looks prety dam mean. the car made 420 with a N2O tune up in it, we hit it with a 125 shot and the car made almost 550 threw full exhaust, cats, 12 bolt ect, and it is a safer kit then single nozzles. its more money, but i run a custom noszle system and love it, and his is great as well.
hasnt been to the track yet, its winter here! DOH!

It would be safer to run a 100 shot for me. I`m on the thin line running a 150 shot. I don`t spray alot. Maybe 6-8 bottles a year. So I`m hoping for 2 years with the stock bottom, then I`m going with a iron 408 and spraying a big 250 shot!! Just tune it safely and you will be good. Be sure and upgrade the fuel system!!

I talked with Dave at Nitrous Outlet...and he told me that I could spray 150 safely. Anything over that would be pushing it. He recommended the Racetronix (i believe) fuel system.

He said maybe some 36 lb/hr injectors....but not a must have.

I am leaning toward the NX single nozzle...cuz the price! And that is probably all I want to spray anyway. Good entry level and intermediate level kit right?
