Default 100 shot. plug and play or???

Just last week I installed a dry 100 shot on my 99SS. I read a couple of threads that sugest that you tune your car for nitrous, how true is this?
And does it really matter with only 100shot.

Yea, atleast get the car on a wideband sensor and figure out where the A/F ratio is at. It's also nice to check and see if the car is picking up any KR during runs if you have anyway of doing that. Generally a 100 shot with the stock tune works well, but of course every car is different. Is this a wet or dry set up?

Good results?

I thinking about a F1 TNT 100 shot in the spring

Whoops, I just noticed you said it was a dry shot.

My car always ran alittle lean when I had a dry set up but most peolpe have good luck with a 100 dry shot on the stock tune. I'd still want to get the A/F ratio checked out though.

I did notice my air/fuel ratio gauge leaning out, on the red. you guys think it's causing damage.

You really can't go by the stock O2s but when I had an Autometer A/F ratio gauge with a dry shot it would usually hover right on the edge of red and green. That was with the car tuned for about 12.2-12.5. If you happen to have the extra cash I would check into the LM-1 wideband from Innovate. It's really worth the $350 or so to know what is going on with the car.

cruedas- if you have a ported throttle body or MAF you are most likely running lean as well as other mods, those are the most common. If the MAF is dirty it can be more catastrophic running dry shots also. You really should get think about tuning and checking the fuel pressure to make sure your pump is working good.
