Default MSD window switch question

i know i am going to sound stupid but i need to know where my tack wire is at, i am wiring illiterate and need some help.

It is one of the white wires connected to the PCM under the hood. I am not sure which number it is but i am sure someone will post up.

it's the number 10 wire, but i don't remember if it's on the blue or red connector

It's the number 10 wire (white) off the PCM ON 99+ VEHICLES ONLY

mine is a 98 the number ten wire is purple so is it still the number ten and do i splice into the pcm wire or try to find it closer to the tach? or is it a white wire?

You can splice into it close to the pcm. But dont splice into that purple wire on #10. I forget what one it is on a 98 but that's not the one.

I have a window switch set up on my '98 TA, but I'm at work right now. I'll post it in the morning when I get home.

I think it is #35 for a 98.

ok now I have that figured out. One more question and the install will be complete. It says to hook up to a switched 12v source. What are you guys connecting to? Is the remote wire for the radio good for all of these or do I need to find another source? I am brain storming trying to think of the wires that only get power when the ignition is on and I can't think of any but the remote wire on the radio. Thanks for all the reply's

I just grabbed a volt meter and checked in the fuse box (inside the passenger compartment). I found quite a few switched power sources.

what about the traction control? another post said it was pink and he ran all of his switches through that. What do you guys think of that one? alos if thats a good one where do I find the pink wire?
