Default 150 Shot

How safe is really spraying a 150 wet shot. I have the window switch, and fuel safety device. My window swithc is set to shut down at 5800.
I really don`t want to start having problems with the car and want it to last me for a long time.
I run a 100 dry shot right now, but I`m doing the conversion to the wet kit so I can get more fuel mixed with the No2.
Should I stay a 125 ? I don`t really abuse the No2, I only run it once in a while, and never go to the track, even tho I`d like to go there once I have the 150 just to see what is doing.
Whats your advise ??

PS: I got bolt ons but nothing internal.

Plenty of people spray a 150 shot with no issues. You already have some good safety items, so put a fuel pump in the car, get you A/F ratio and timing right, and you should have yourself a reliable set up. Just remember to check the fuel noid every now and then to make sure everything is working properly and pick up a good nitrous filter if you don;t already have one. Try starting with the 125, then once your comfortable with that make the step up to the 150 shot.

Thanks man.
I really don`t want to jet up the dry system cause I`m running lean as of now, thats why I want to go to the wet kit so I can compensate for the fuel. And I really don`t want to tune it rich for the Dry either. Just want to make it richer on spray only.
Andrew you have a really nice set up man.

What you're saying can be easily done with a dry system.
What did you measure your AFR as on the spray?
How close is your nozzle to the MAF?

Are you running lean because injectors are maxed? If so the cost to upgrade injectors compared to adding wet might be close. Or save A small 75 dry for the first stage (safety) and a full companion wet sys for second stage. That way you get the best of both worlds. Something to ponder?

Remount your nozzle to spray directly at the MAF wires from about 2" away, then recheck your AFR to see where you're at.

IMO that's the best/easiest solution. If you have edit or a tricker box you can add fuel that way too.

I have a MAFT for $90 shipped if you (original poster in thread) decides to go this route and needs one.

He won't need one if he jets up dry and does what White2001S10 suggests. That's the beauty of it. Worst case he'll need a CTS tricker box.
