Default Nitrous filters?

What does everyone run on their setup, if they even run a filter? I did a search and several people were complaining about the flow restriction of a filter. I've got a NOS5177 kit, which filter would be best for me? TIA.

As long as the element isn't full of junk I don't think your going to see any real power loss unless your running some ungodly amount of nitrous. I run the older style NOS filter in my car and the newer style one on my refill station. Both seem to work great but any of the major brands filters should get the job done.

Im running the 5177 kit, is this the correct part number (if you happen to know) for the filter: NOS-15550NOS (summitracing.com)

BTW, caught the video of your car on your webpage..it hauls!

The part number you have listed is what you need (asuming you still run the stock -4AN feed line). Depending on where and how you want to make the connection you may also need to pick up a connector or a small piece of line.

I'll have to get some more vids of the car this spring, that one was from someone who just happened to get it. Figures it was the only pass of the day I left the line N/A from idle.

We sell an affordable filter for you. Its good up to about 175hp. If you need more than that then you will need to step-up to a much larger unit.

Pro flow is the best filter hands down no question about it. Great filter and will increase your nitrous flow when used! Mounts to the bottle and is the size of the bigger fittinf on the bottle and flows down to your line size, also has a removeable filter.

Remember the 5177 comes with a filter (screen) built into the fitting that goe's in the noid. Not much surface area, so if you go after market take stock unit out. I wonder sometimes if the 5177 guys ever check the stock filter, as it could become clogged easy.
