Default Choices in window switches!!!!

Hey Guys just for your information..
I thought I would drop this little post for the ones that do not know.
There are three main window switches that I know of.
We all know about the MSD that takes the plug in modules. This kit has been around for years and works great.By the time you buy the pill packs and the window switch you will have a 135.00 in it.

MSD recently came out with a Digital window switch. This is a nice unit.It sells for about 95.00 but has been on back order for a while and hard to get.

Now we started carrying a new company about 6 to 7 months ago. www.bmnracetech.com
As you know we look parts over and give it the would we put it on our car test before selling it.
Bill and Mike from BMN was kind enough to send us this window switch for us to check out.We decided we liked it and started carrying it.We have sold quite abit of them and everyone has been happy with them.We have not had any bad ones and the guys over there are always on the ball to help.
They offer two kinds.
Both kinds use dip switches. One has a first gear lock out and one doesnt.
The one with the lock out seems to be the most popular. It sells for 129.00.

The reason of this post was to share the window switches that we carry with you and the new one that we have found to be a great product. Its always available.

This first gear lockout deal sounds very interesting. I guess
it works off the tranny control lines? How many lines do
you have to tap into to get everything hooked up? Does
this module also have things like TPS (for WOT) input?

There is only one extra wire to hook up. It goes to the brake switch so the unit resets when you step on your brakes after the run.

I like the new one from BMN!

I have an idea for another model that others may also like. If you like the idea and produce them, perhaps you could hook me up with one I'll PM you & Nitro Dave my idea

the only thing I don't like about the lockout on the BMN is that you have to redline the gear after touching the brake then shift into the next gear to get it to activate.

It doesn't know what gear your in. Just that it will activate after the cutoff step of the window switch has triggered after a brake application.

Anyway it would make roll on racing a bitch. lol

LOL, true, that is so because it was desinged for the sole purpose of "off road/tack us" only blah blah blahblah...blah ............blah, (end leagal disclamor). I have heard rumors that one could just flip the switch and turn the Lock-Out off if they where racing from a roll on the stre........ I mean, salt flats.

Default Best options for controlling Nitrous etc???

Ok, with the addition of FJO to the window switch selection (MSD and BMN also), leaves me with a question.

Is it possible to get a multi-use box that will do the following:
1) Dual/2 Stage Window Switch
2) Have 1 or both stages Progressively Controlled or delay
3) Setup to wire in with Trans Brake
4) And tie into Timing Tuner, in case I dont go dry tuned for timing.
5) Include a 2 Step.

Basically having the ability to activate a 2 Step, with one stage out of the hole, 2nd stage either progressive or delayed, both set in RPM Windows and have an input feed for either WOT or select Trans Brake, and an output to activate the timing reduction.

Why hasnt anyone else come out with a timing tuner?
