Default Dual Stage Window Switch Progressive IN!!!

Hey guys wanted to let yall know I just recieved a shippment of the new dual window switch controllers in. These units have built in, dual window switches, tps switch, transbrake inputs. Can be configured for multipul vehicles unsing your laptop. Also ( and I think this is the coolest part) you can up grade this unit later to be a progressive controller, PER stage. So now you can have a progressive unit on 2 stages.

Go here for some specs. Its a badass unit for the price. It will satisfy 75% of most peoples needs for a contoller. IMO everyone thats running bigger than a 125 shot single stage. would benifit breaking it into two stages and then running a bit more total of a shot.

Oh...and I should have a write up done on this by saturday complete with dyno #s on a Rev Extreme built 408 using this controller with first stage dry to kick in the retard PCM functions followed by an NX direct port that will be on the second stage of the controller with the progressive driver plugged in. We are looking to spray 125 shot dry first stage and between 250-350 second stage progressive. Motor makes just over 500 rwhp NA. Total HP goal is between 800-900 rwhp using this controller.

Can not wait to see what it makes on the dyno, and get it to the track and see how it runs.

180.00 for the switch, and 99.00 per driver if you want to go to progressive.

I'm guessing that you would wire this in with an LS1 Timing Tuner as if it was an NX TPS switch, correct? I'm highly interested in going to a dry/wet dual stage setup but I would like to keep the Timing Tuner inline for use with the wet to retard timing while using this new dual stage switch for the progressive / tps features... think it would work?

I'm also interested in learning more about how you can control this switch via your laptop. What type of connecter/software is required to interface with it?

Not sure about timing tuners. The unit comes with it own interface cable. USB

but why would you want other companies stuff. Just kidding, it will work on all nitrous companies noids. The unit will drive any relay in standard form, and the drivers can handle lots of amps, so your covered there also. There are a couple of other things this unit might be able to do but for now this is enough.

Thanks for the fast reply... I'm pretty sure I could just disable the window switch capability of the Timing Tuner and use your switch for that feature? Basically use the Timing Tuner JUST to retard the timing a bit when the wet shot is activated.

I'd like to start out with a dry shot to drop the IAT's etc etc at 3000RPMs, then around 4250 RPMs have the wet activate along with the Timing Tuner to pull some additional timing while using the progressive controller for a ramped 100 wet shot.

That's just an idea of how I'd like things to get setup for now but I'm sure the plans will change many times

<end of hijacking post>

The setup looks awesome either way! I really like the ability to control the box with your laptop (via USB at that).

Damn, I am in the process right now of dual window switches (actually one window and one rpm activation) and it's a wiring night mare. It is a dual dry/dry at this state, but want progressive 2nd and have been looking at some pulsenoids designed for progressive use. Do you have a wiring schematic to see the ease of install. I hate to spend more $$ but what the hey, sounds like what I've been looking for.

I have some that can ship today. Wiring is pretty much the same as anything. Just a handle full of wire with instructions on were to go.. Took my guy about 2 hours to do a clean install on our test vehicle.

I know you said there is no 1st gear lock out feature, but could you explain to me how you would program it in such a way to keep the 2nd stage from coming on in 1st? (M6).

Will the 2nd stage needs to have its own button. So you will need to push the button to activate the second stage.

You wont need a controller for that setup you are talking about...its not gonna make that much difference with the 100 wet on top...

Here is the pic of the units. One is the window switch the other is the driver if you want to go progressive.

Another way to do first lock out is, use a micro wot switch mounted under shifter so that it's dedicated to 2nd stage. That way 2nd cannot engage until shifting out of first, then the rest acts as normal. I may have some pics of this installed but will have to wait till later as I am working on my wiring nightmare now. Hope this helps a bit. Someone can draw up a schematic also.
