Default What fuel pump for 650rwhp?

How much fuel pump is needed to make 650rwhp.. 450 on motor. Will a 255 w/ booster work? How about just a 255?

Thanks

I'd be pretty leary of running that much power on one of those pumps. I'm using a bosch 420 pump. I think they're good for 800hp or something.

i was actually having a problem with fuel pressure making 577 rwhp...the fuel pressure would drop on a single walbro gs340.

granted this was going through 1/2 feed..3/8 return with a front mounted reg.

i had two 255 pumps intank, but didnt like it..so i went to a big accel external.

Aeromotive makes pumps for your HP range and so does Weldan.

I've got the stock vette Walbro and an inline Bosch (rated to 600 by itself), but only hit 550 here and there. Some don't like the in-line though.

That is on the border line for the single intake pump.I would look into the race tronix system.

You should look into a seperate fuel cell for nitrous enrichment. Nitro dave makes a nice one. That way you can put race gas in it to help against detonation when on the hose.
