Where are you guys putting your Nitrous Bottles?? Pics please!
I have been researching N20, and been lookin at everything in my car, from switch locations, to bottle placement.. I really cant find a good spot to put the bottle other than right up behind the rear seat (in perfect sight of rear window) I really would like to hide the tank better... I know you guys have some ideas! I am looking at a 10# tank btw... Thanks!

there a lot of threads with pic's on here, do a search, the pic's iv'e seen are where the spare tire goes, mount it there and remove the speaker so you can turni it on or get a bottle opener.

hourang, Great setup. Any idea the thickness of those metal strips that you put in? Thats really cool!!! If i go nitrous, i will be doing it like this. How did you fasten your custom mounting strips to the car? I cant tell how they are on, and if you actually put another hole in your car!?? Nice setup!

I built a small box and carpeted it. I then reinforced it with the erector set material. Looks pretty good I think. It is in the same place as 69_Yenko's. I thought about the spare tire well, but I didn't want to spend the money on a remote bottle opener. If you live in a town like mine, your kit won't need to be too stealthy after you spray it a few times. Everyone will know you have it regardless.

I have put bottles for customers in the rear bumper, you can pull the rear cover off, then remove a section on the honey cone reinforcement install the bottle then use quick releases on the covoer to get it off again to access the bottle but you would benifit from using a remote opener to turn it on and off, or just turn it on by hand before heading out to race. Good luck and have fun..

That makes up my mind... mine is going on the D.S. tunnel like the pic above... that is hands down teh best spot. And no need for a remote opener either.
Screw hiding it... leave it in the open, might stop the ricers that see inside the car at car shows from bothering me as much on my way home.
