Default problem with nitrous

I bought a ls1 with a nx wet kit installed with 100 shot and I never used it till tonight and I wasn't to impressed with it, It had the timing tuner installed already but I just had to hook it up the the cps...well, I had everything good, so I shot it when I was on the highway, and it felt like it kinda bogged for A SECOND and then it cleared up and then the car turned off , but was poopping like crazy out the exhaust for atleast 10- 15 seconds while car was off, and I had to roll off the highway cause it would start back up, then when I pulled over popped the hood to make the intake and everything was still on then started car and it fired right up..

the bottle pressure was around 900psi and the window switch goes from 3-6k rpm's, however I did notice that my battery voltage was at about 11.5v according to the gauge, when the car was idling with no accesories on and it should be at like 14- 15v....so do you think that maybe the spark wasn't strong enough and so the car died, and all of the popping was maybe from all of the excess fuel that when into the exhaust system burning up??

Same thing happened to me on the dyno (the popping) with my NX 200 shot. 78 & 44 jets, with bottle pressure at 1000 psi and the Maximizer going from 2750 to 5900, 0-100%. My friend, a dinkly little kid who owns a POS Honda, was all afraid of getting killed or something, but with as rich as my wideband was showing, between 12.5 and 11, I expected it. I don't know why your car turned off though.

If you have the stock plugs in there that may be your problem.

Check your wring to the nitrous solenoid. It sounds like it never came on, just the fuel did!
Good luck!

I figured out what the problem was, it was the timing tuner bullshit, it is messed up, so I disconnected it and sprayed again and didn,t shut off or anything but it felt like I didn't gain much, but I was told I need to spin my bottle a little so that the hose is facing down (it is facing kinda sideways right now) , and I am also gonna weigh the bottle to see how much juice is left, cause I have heard people say that when it gets low, you will have good bottle pressure but it won't have enough juice

thanks

Yep, the siphon tube needs to be in the bottom edge of the bottle, verified by the line facing down.

Bottle pressure is also very important to having a nitrous system operate properly. Without the correct bottle pressure, a nitrous system will not make the power that it should. Our systems are designed to operate at 1050psi. So with our jetting (which is rich even at 1050psi), and 900psi the car was more than likely running way too rich. This could be the reason for the popping in the exhaust, and the stock plugs w/ stock gap could be contributing as well.

NX systems are designed to be operated at 1050psi, not 900psi. That could be contributing to the popping in the exhaust (too rich). Plug gap should be .035"
