get the window switch to work, but a A4 doesnt really need one, more of a safety thing for m6, unless ur spraying a big shot. when u know or feel its gonna shift, get out of WOT until it shifts, so that extra 100tq or so doesnt shock the trans.

MY guess it has something to do with the tune. Ive sprayed mine all the way through the shifts with ever hitting limiter. Maybe trying to move the shift points down.

A windows witch is needed just as much on a auto as a M6.It will save your motor if the tranny slips and it will keep you from spraying under to low of a rpm.Sounds like either you need some tuning work or something is not right with your new tranny.

My tranny use to do that as well. It will bang the limiter on the 2nd to 3rd shifts but not 1 to 2nd while spraying ot shifts. I bought a msd digital window switch and it stoped.

You are not leaving the bottle heater on when you are making your pass are you? Also do not pull your e-brake up to turn off the running lamps that could also affect the shifting. I know it seems wierd but the first one actually turned out to be the problem on a buddy's car.
