two is for redundancy, if you just have one noid and it fails to shut (with a dry shot especially), you're probably going to be buying a new shortblock.

someone correct me if i'm wrong.....(just needed to throw that in there )

not only dry, but wet and Dp too would call for a new shortblock....

That makes sense, I appreciate the feedback.

Heres my next question for whoever comes in?
I can get the purge to spray all the time no matter what.
I activate the nitrous and it will spray on the first time.
I try spraying it again and nothing.

I let the system sit for a while, and it will do it all over again. Any help, highly appreciated, thanks.

True, and furthermore, redundant noids don't work on wet because you'll add double the chance of a noid failure on either side, leaving opposing side to continue working. On a dry shot really the only thing that'll hurt your motor is a n2o noid sticking open, not good, but the chance of two sticking/failing at same time is zero.

slikws6, checking the power side of the solenoid wiring is one thing you could try. check the relay, any loose wire connections, safety switches and things like that.

Both of the solenoids are clicking over, which is why I find this so weird.

But Im going to conclude that one of the solenoids is partially shot, and Im going to have to go out and buy another one.

and hopefully this fixes the problem, damn two solenoids wouldnt be bad either, but 160 bucks is alot.

I guess for more than a second that cant be bad.

i've been thinking about a system in which the fuel line splits with a y and has a fuel noid on each side of the y, then feeds into another y which returns to a single fuel line. this type of redundancy would create a saftey much in the way that 2 inline nitrous noids would provide. ideally when a failure happens, you would like to have too much fuel, or no nitrous, this would help assure that this happens.

anybody else thought about this kinda system?
