Default Bmn Window Switch Problem

My Bmn Window Switch Is Not Working! I Have It On 8 Cl Mode Turn On 3000 Rpm Turn Off At 6000 Rpm. First Gear Lock Out Is Off. However The Green Light Does Not Come On Untill 5000 Rpms And Then It Turns Off At 6000. What The Hell?? And I Cant Feel Any Difference In Power. Has Anybody Else Had This Problem?

Try setting it to 4 cylinders for the LS1.

BTW, this isn't exclusive to the BMN rpm window switch. MSD, NX, etc; they all have to be put in 4-cylinder mode to work properly with the LS1 motor.

In that case, it sounds like you may have a faulty unit.

i know youve probably checked a thousand times..but make sure you have a GOOD ground..this is very important..even if you think you do..rig it up straight to your neg terminal or something and set the lower rpms to the lowest setpoint and throttle it with your hand under the hood and see if you get anything..also make dam sure you have it hooked to the right wire on your pcm..and make sure its got a good coneection..you may have accidently hooked it up to the wrong wire, or its not connected somehow. just go over everthing.im betting its not a faulty unit.

OK, sent ya a PM. Green light comming on means its reading. Looks like the pruple wire is hooked up wrong. It supplies a ground when active. Get back to the PM I sent ya with more of the details to the ?'s in there for ya. We'll get ya running.
