removing nitrous kit to sell it...and i cracked the fuel rail..kinda.
hey guys i was removing the fuel line and fppr from the fuel rail where the schrader valve was and it was on there good so when i was trying to remove it(VERY CAREFULLY) it made little cracks around it and now it leaks a little bit. has this happened to anyone else? i was very cautious that line is just so damn brittle for some reason...
what can i do about it?
i put a little bit of sealant on it and i will check it in the morning, hopefully things will be ok because i have to drive it to work in the morning...

Like you, I found out how fragile the nipple on the fuel rail is. I barely bent the nipple while installing my FPSS and it was leaking after I bent it back. I ended up having to buy a new fuel rail.
I would make certain it's not leaking fuel before you drive it or you could end up catching you car on fire.

well i can honestly say i made the most ghetto rigged setup to stop the leak today at work.
i drove there with it leaking like crazy, so i pulled my car in andtried jb weld but the gas wasnt allowing it to set, so i used some instaset superglue and put it on there to stop the gas from leaking then i literally CAKED hot glue over it to stop the pressure from blowing it out and it is leak free.
tomorrow morning i am going to give speedinc a call and get their rails and kit for factory use.
and i will change it out asap but for now it is at least holding for me to get around.

well that got me home great but i never count my chickens before they hatch so i let my car run for a while in the garage and sure enough it ended up leaking though it. so now the rails are removed and have some jb weld sitting on them and i am sure teh JB will hold over until the new rails arrive. just keeping an update for others who may one day do a search and read this.
