I have a 408 in the process now being put together that should put out about 650+ n/a solid roller motor that is just about done. I was gonna run this last day and then take off the alt. - water pump - and the intake to ensure that the vacume pump clears everything but now I will order actually I ordered a custom sheetmetal intake today tha will go on this build and have it plummed as well

that sucks. a burst panel will only help so much. maybe a little hicup but not a big boom. i've been there done that. sucked. and it was the nitrous kit staying on. both fuel and n20.

NOPE I personaly think that right before it was gonna blow the motor blew. Never know... Gonna run a 15 amp next .. I t was only in the initial arming wire so I might have to install on before each and after each relay this time..

The funny thing is that the burst panel was the only part that was still together..

I dont see how a direct short thru a fused system would not open the circuit. Sorry for your mishap. That really sucks. But for the wire to melt and not drag at least 20 amps is beyond me.

I got to look into all of the relay's as well... I think that they might be too big amp wise.
