Default 9's on DR's and my DRY shot

went to a track rental yesturday and got a new best on the drag radials and on the slicks.

Drag radial best .......

60' .... 1.43
330' ...4.09
1/8.... 6.31
mph....110.49
1000' ...8.24
1/4 ....9.890
mph ...137.85


New best on slicks......

60'.... 1.35
330' ...3.97
1/8....6.18
mph....110.82
1000' ...8.10
1/4 .....9.73
mph....138.51

We put a new cam in a few weeks ago these were the first runs with the new cam

has a lil more in it for sure

made 415 on the motor and over 600 on the spray

How do you launch your car on the spray? Both on ths licks and on the radials.

Nice! Is this the same car that was running the 200 or 250 dry shot on the stock bottom end?

Great numbers on DRs. And slicks but the DR number is especially impressive.

225(2 stage) dry shot bottom end has forged pistons stock rods and arp rod bolts.

5.3 heads fast 78 mm intake.

both are off the 1200 rpm foot brake.....

spray = 125 right away then 100 at 4500

DR's = 125 at 3000 then 100 at 5000

1.4x 60' is pretty dialed in on DR's.

What size cam? Can you give the specs....

its just a jet change away!! lol

i went similar. i went 9.6 with the 250 shot. then i bumped it to the 300 and i lost about 100-150 pounds on top of that, and it dropped it to the 9.4 range.
the car is ripping!

thanks, i ordered some parts today for the new build, and its going in saturday to have the chassie shop start on the parachute

Drags = 125 right away then 100 at 4300

DR's = 125 at 2400 then 100 at 5000 to be exact
