Default Whats too high of compression to run with nitrous?

I currently have 10.8:1 SCR, but would like some better heads eventually! Something that will give me in the 11.0:1 to 11.3:1 SCR. And combining that compression with say 150 to 200 rwhp shot of nitrous.............How will this work together?

I've heard that nitrous likes high compression, but 11.3:1 on a non forged motor?

dont have any personal experience with that kind of compression, but from everything i have read you would want forged internals if your going above stock compression with almost any shot, especially that high.

nitrous loves compression. Though the difference between 10.8 and 11.3:1 is quite minimal.

Make sure you have enough fuel, octane, and the proper timing and you should not have any problems.

Thats what I heard too! But is 11.1:1 to much? Will I have to forge my internals for a 150shot(which I don't want to do)?

the 11 to 1 is not too much. But you obviously will be running heads and cam and bolt ons?? Probably be in the 420-440 range?

Add a 150 to that and your getting up there. But it certainly can be done and safely. You just have to dot your I's and cross your T's and make sure you have all the right stuff and have plenty of fuel. I personally would start off with a 75 shot and work your way up.

Do a lot of reading and searches here. There is enough info here to help you understand how to safely make 550-600 rwhp on a stock bottom end using nitrous.
