Which of these two controllers???
I need a controller with every feture you can think of...
THis controller has EVERYTHING... but i have not heard much about it... what do you all think??
http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=338&page=1
My other choice is the FJO controller... it seems to get good reviews, but does it have all the features that the other one does???
http://www.nitrodaves.com/outlet/pro...§ion_id=24
What would you all recommend... Monday im ordering the nitrous... purge... bottle heater... and FPSS. Before i even fill the bottle im going to get a good controller. I want pretty much the best i can get. For the money, FJO sounds amazing... but the other has a TON of features. What one would you all go for??

Both are very good products. The edge has oil pressure, fuel pressure(most every basic Nitrous kit has a FP shut off switch) and A/F safe features that the FJO does not.

Im not sure how much the add on is but yes you do, The A/f alone turned me to it the edge. but i like the fjo rpm settings for the nitrous both i think are great units.

The Edge has buttons on it, under the LCD screen. It's entirely self contained.

I have a FPSS and a bottle heater coming with the nitrous.
THe edge has a ton of features, jsut not enough details about it.

If you want to integrate oil pressure or any other pressure with the FJO thats not a problem. Youll just be using a pressure switch inline with the relay. I believe thats why FJO did not include those things with the $206 unit because its very simple to integrate to any system...even if you dont have a controller.
The FJO also comes ready to use in dual stage mod progressively and able to pulse two sets of two noids. And it has time based and rpm based true curve modes. meaning you dont have to start at say 20% at 3000 rpm and have a straight ramp to 100% at 6000 rpm. Or in time mode 20% at 1 seconds ramping to 100% at say 5 seconds. You can adjust the rate in any fashion. Such as 25% on at 3000 rpm ramping slowly to 40% by 4500 rpm and then quickly bringing in the rest to 100% by 5500. This will help you get true control of your Tq and HP output and traction since things like Nitrous flow and the HP production of the NA motor your spraying or available traction are not linear and likely will need tweaking to get the best possible control.
Adjustable ramps from 0-100% in both start and stop in 1% increments for BOTH stages. You can even use one stage in time mode to come off the line as hard as you can and then use the second stage in RPM mode with first gear lock out to ensure you are getting the most safe HP possible as you get down the track.
Also has a T brake input..which is what i cant wait to use.
With all the features these nice controlers have now adays its tough to envision how it will play out for the goals your trying to achieve. For the FJO controller the best bet is to go to FJOracing.com and download the software. its free. You will then be able to run it through its paces. Takes about 5 minutes.

If price is no object you may want to look at the Maximizer. It does everything and then some things you would have never thought about . Including different progressive ramps for each and every gear and datalogging. Its pretty crazy

LOL...I know. For what the majority of us do the lower end stuff certainly will suffice. Its still leaps and bouds better than a single stage on/off setup. Good luck with whatever you go with and be sure to give us details how it all works out.

Forgive me, but I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but I'm going to try to answer it. With The Edge you won't need a TPS switch or Window Switch, both are integrated. It has a progressive controller along with an A/F switch that will work with narrowband sensors or an optional wideband sensor. Let me know if I didn't answer your question.
Thanks,
Matt

I'm going to say that bothe of these are good controllers. They7 both have there positive points. Look into each. We've seen enough product bashing last year. Lets point out what each does and keep it to that. Cool? I hope so!!

Dependeing on how serious you get with Nitrous is what comes into Play. I personnaly Lke the Edge Myself and will be gettign 1 come spring. The Fetures are to my taste + u cant beat the LCD screen it offers. You cant really go wrong with either one. Choose to your taste and Needs
