Default How much nitrous filter is enough?

I recently purchased a TNT Power Ring kit from a friend and I want to make this kit a little safer than my old one. I'm definately going to run a nitrous filter this time around, but I'm wondering which one. TNT includes a screen mesh filter (built into an adapter) with the kit. Is this good enough for moderate use (i.e. not all out race)?

I see Nitro Daves sells these filters, but they look like overkill. Aren't filters only there to prevent debris from entering the noids, or do they do more?

I personaly don't trust filtered fittings by themselves. I would suggest getting a real filter like the one you linked to on Dave's site (especially if your refill guy doesn't filter his nitrous).

Do both and you are covered. The large filters on the market that use a brooze stone I think are the best ones. And can hold the largest amount of trash. The screens are good, for that final line of defense.

A Nitrous filter is always a good idea, keeps debris out of your noids nozzles and jets

You may see the Cold Fusion filters here

Let me know if you have any questions

Zeus,
THe filter like on our site is in my opinion one of the best filters on the market. You will notice many manafactures use that same filter.

The TNT system comes with one of these same filters.. The filters are 3 1/4 long and about 2in in diameter.

We also carry the nOS filters. They are alittle smaller.
They are not on our current web site but will be on our new one.
Here is a link of the NOS.

We use to carry a little aluminum one.But they were really a peice and leaked ifd not carefully installed...

My understanding is that the canister style filters only come with the F2 systems (I bough an F1). If not I got ripped off .

Big filters are good!

Do not forget your fuel side if using a wet kit

how do you run a fuel filter with a wet kit? Is it just a standard filter from Jegs or Autozone, or is a special made one with AN inlets/outlets?
