OK I lied. I found a CHEAP older NOS remote bottle opener on Ebay and got that for my kit. Believe it or not I picked it up for 40 bucks shipped to my door. Can't go wrong with that.

I have a Zex Remote Motorized opener, had a NoS did not like it. Go motororized, not solenoid.

Not legal for me, but I would never use it even if it was legal.

Well here in cali. you can have your bottle connected but the valve has to be closed and if you have a remote opener they say it's like having the bottle open. I don't want to get in any trouble for spanking something on my way to work when I knew before I even stepped on the pedal that it would be a waste of time. If my bottle is open or I have the remote opener it's not just speeding or engaged anymore.

I have my bottle mounted between the back seats. No one is stealing the bottle without a heavy pry bar.

I have a bottle opener because even though it is in my back seat it was a lot more convient to just flip a switch to open it instead of turning around and opening it. I got a good deal on my NX one so it was well worth it.

Got both. That way there's always a safety shut down.
(man, has this thread been around a while. At least it won't get posted again by someone else)

I bought one about a year ago. Haven't installed it yet. It's on my list of things to do, but not at the top.

+1

This has kept me out of alot of trouble. If I had an opener I would go through a bottle a day. Thats why mine is mounted in the back. I can get to it if I try hard enough but not so close that I'm alway jacking with it.

Am in the process of getting two NX remote bottle openers for both bottles in the trunk. That way the Z06's dont know what hit them when they thought I was otherwise stock

Coolest things ever invented. If you are running nitrous you need one to keep it hidden.
