Default First time out on the juice

Tonight was alright, I guess. The track wasn't hooking worth a DAMN. I ran 13.1 @ 105 with a 1.94 60....I usually cut high 1.7's. =/ Anyhow, I ran the 13.1 on motor, and decided to give the nitrous a try. Cut an even worse 60 (1.97) and ended up running 12.12 @ 117. Mods in sig. So it cut a good second off, and upped my trap 12 mph. I know it had 11's in it with a good 60, but the cam is going in tomorrow, so I didn't push it any further. Btw, this was done on the 100 shot. Haven't upped to 150 yet! - Chris

You will get 11's no problem if you can get it to hook better. If you can get back to the 1.7 60 foot that will put you in the 11.9

I take it you have a dry shot also.

Nitto DR's. I wish I could go back in time, as they're brand new....And I really don't think I heated them up properly. Not at all. But, oh well. I can't wait for the bumpstick to go in, then it's off to HPE to get tuned and see what it'll do at the track after that. =D

I'm getting 1.55 on a set of M/T et street biasply's. I just got a set of hoosier drag radials with the same "no tread pattern" as the e/t streets I think they may hook harder.

3.42 10 bolt, yes....It's gonna go boom soon enough, I can feel it. But hey, might as well have fun with it while it lasts. It spun a good bit last night but still hooked at the end of first, and after that it was a fun ride. Now that the car's down with the cam, I can't wait to get it tuned and head back to see some mid to low 11's, hooking hopefully. =D

i just bought some and they said they require a heat cycle

does this mean before you start using the tires? or just heat them up before you make a pass?

From what I understand you really gotta burn that first layer of tread off before they start hookin' decent. Guess that's what I didn't do.....Oh well, lesson learned. Next time.

Yea, maybe if you heated them a little more dummy and drop some pressure, you might have gotten 11's!!!

I know 11's were there. Had I heated them up and been smart about it, 11's were there. That was my only pass on the juice. Oh well, the cam install is about finished, and soon up to HPE to tune, and I'll be back out there....117.96 is not a bad mph I think, seen people run easy 11's on less mph.

It's the TR 230/236. It's advertised as I believe 230/236 .590/.598 on a 112. On my box it came out to be 231/237 .594/.607 on a 112 +4. I think it'll do pretty decent.
