2 step w/ clutch switch
Ricky
Works fine for me. Ricky I am not well educated w/ sending diagrams in email format, however I can fax it.I am using a MSD 8739.My biggest fear is that something will malfunction or I well set the 2 step every time I shift. Thanks again! Brian.
White wire to a momentary pushbutton switch, other side of switch to ground
a typical automotive relay, you need one that has 5 terminals, not 4.
yellow wire to terminal 85, 12V to terminal 86. Intercept your power feed or WOT switch arming for the system. Basically cut that circuit, and splice in the relay using terminals 30 and 87a. When the 2 step activates, the relay should open and disconnect the 30 and 87a terminals. Those are the normally closed connections of the relay
Depending on how you wire it, you can use 87 to run a light or something if you have 12v on terminal 30.

BTW, my issues was a faulty circuit inside the 2 step. The wiring process is correct.
