Default What is a good basic window switch?

I am looking for a window switch to complete my system. I kind of like the idea of the window switch and WOT switch in one, but not sure if I need/want all the other features those units come with (like progressive control). Any opinions? Thanks.

Msd offers some really decent ones both a pill type and an adjustable.

The FJO 903 is an awesome switch. Comes with gear lockout, TPS WOT switch, window switch and dual stage capability. Its sold by several of the vendors here under different names.

I have heard a few guys say the FJO is a very nice piece. I have one question though. How does the gear lockout work? In other, how does the controller know if you are in first gear or not? Sorry for the newbie questions.

There are many ways you can go on a window switch. The two best ones in my openion are the MSD digital or the Digital unit like Dyno tune and we carry.

The digital one that Dynotune and We carry is a complety sealed unit. You can mount it anywhere and can spray water directly on it. As a matter of fact you can freeze it in a block of Ice and it will still work. This unit will controll two stages, has a built in TPS switch, and any gear lock out feature.
The Gear lock out works by reading the RPM drop. It counts that as a gear shift.

The MSD is a little cheaper and is also a digital unit. WE have sold many of these units also. The build is not near as durable as the other unit but seems to work fine. If you want a basic window switch that does not require modules either one will work.

Ohh yeah...
We also carry a BMN window switch with a first gear lock out. We normally sell these units for 129.00. They are currently on clearence for 99.00. We have one left in stock.

msd digital here, lacks a lot of the better features, but it is a good entry level switch, never had a problem with it so far, but a first gear lock out would be nice
