Most common is to run the line down/ along the passenger side of the car (from the interior) and have the nitrous line feed through the main gromment below the battery to come into the motor compartment.

I am in the process of running the mainline.

I used the Hot Rod C-5 article which does what Joey is talking about.
Hot Rod C-5 Nitrous Install

I removed the trim pieces (Door Sill, passenger kick panel forward), in the passenger compartment and some in the trunk area. I removed the passenger seat and lifted the carpet.

I made a 24" or so push stick to use to run the wires and mainline under the carpet and insallation to get them just behind the passenger seat up against the corner of where the trunk area meets the front cockpit area.

Here a some pics, I am all stop at the firewall until I get home and have more time to continue.

Cheers
Beer

Yup.. thats how I did it and 2 friends of mine have as well. It works out great. The accessory power harness shown in those pics is a great thing to use as well.

Its actually a Beer Panel

DynoTune has some various styles under electrical (Arm Heater Purge)(Arm, Opener, Htr, Purge) and a two stage Like I pictured.

Buy one. I had the first one sold and used by someone besides the maker (thanks again Beer). I love it, so nice and they just work.
